Boyd Library
Below, is an ongoing project collecting and archiving Boyd’s various writings. Boyd never “published” anything official, but did leave an open source record of his thoughts. Most of what ‘Genghis John’ left us is in the form of slide show briefings, and aren’t terribly “readable”. Others have provided internet versions, edits, and commentary over time and in various places, but have always maintained the format Boyd briefed from. So, as an ongoing effort, we are cataloging those works here, edited for readability… because everyone in the known world has had enough of slide shows.
Boyd wanted his work to be freely available and to be built upon, and as a result never “laid claim” to any of it in the form of formal copyright or trademark. Feel free to read, download, print, share, etc. It’s public domain and open source.
Lastly, Boyd’s works will not be listed in chronological order, but in order of continuity, to facilitate a more digestible collection of concepts for our clients. Toward that end, we will start with what many consider to be Boyd’s crowning achievement, ‘Destruction and Creation’, from which all the rest of his work arguably leads to and flows from.
